GMC Machine Service was established out of a need for accessories for scale model race cars. This Hobby has been around since about 1938 and after being bitten by the bug I was soon looking for new ways to make then look better. The Idea was first put upon when a fellow by the name of Chuck Oswald was building a scale model Miller front Drive race car in 1/8 scale. It then progressed into my long time friend and partner in crime Dave Wilkerson decided to have a go at it after we purchased his project less the wheels.Dave dove into it with some forsite to creating a few scale race cars and soon decided it was way to time consuming to carry on so I ended up swindleing him out of the wire wheel project and spent many long weekends perfecting it to what it is today.I hope to share my product with many people and help them create the cool race car they always wanted.I hope we can make a few smile along the way as well.I also hope this will help me retire from the working world and long into the rest of my stay here on earth. Thanks Chris
